What is the difference between "Available" and "On Request" confirmation?

"Available" confirmation indicates that your request is available from our exclusive allotment space. If booked, these can be confirmed on line and you will receive your confirmation immediately. "On Request" confirmation is where we have sold out all of our allocations and we need to contact the hotel or suppliers to request the additional space for you. If you book a hotel or services "On Request", you will receive a reply from us within 48 hours of receiving your request.

Can room types vary?

Yes, room types vary from hotel to hotel and country to country. For example a triple room may consist of three single beds or one double and one roll up bed. Also, often double rooms may consist of two single bed made up as one. Please contact us if you need any clarification.

Full payment is debited from your account once your booking is confirmed. Your booking is then subject to our terms and conditions that you should read carefully prior to making a booking.


In what currency do we take payment

We offer our prices in the following two currencies. Euro (EUR) Pounds Sterling (GBP) Note: If payment is made in euro there maybe currency variances or fluctuations.


Is any payment taken if the booking is rejected?

When you select a hotel that is ON REQUEST, an inquiry is made to your credit card account to ensure that there are sufficient funds to cover the entire cost of the accommodation, if the booking is rejected we release the hold on your funds at the end of that day.


Do I have to make any further payments?

When your booking is confirmed the amount is debited from your account and therefore no extra payment is required for accommodation. You only need to pay the hotel directly for extras i.e. parking / dining / leisure facilities etc.


What do I do if the details on my Accommodation Voucher are incorrect?

In the case of voucher errors please contact the call centre on 0870 116 3214 as soon as you receive your voucher. Alterations to vouchers may incur charges dependent on the tour operator. To avoid misspellings and incorrect dates, please double-check your booking correspondence and voucher when they arrive.


Is the price per room or per person?

The price shown on this website is per room. However the prices featured in our special offer section are outlined per person per night and are strictly subject to specific dates and our availability.


Who do I contact if I have any questions or have a query about my booking?

Always contact us as any amendments or cancellations made directly with the hotel are invalid.


Do I have to arrive on the first day of my Booking

Yes, If you fail to arrive on the first date of the booking the subsequent nights will be cancelled and full charges will apply.


Will the hotel be aware of our booking prior to our arrival?

All our bookings are held under general allocation and the hotel is advised of your name prior to your arrival.


Why do hotels without immediate availability appear on this website?

Hotels with no immediate availability still appear as we can request further allocation from the hotel, the hotel accepts or rejects these bookings at their discretion

Solemar will post out your vouchure to you when your balance is paid in full, usually 14 - 10 days before departure date or at time of reservation
